Heinrich Meyer’s New Testament Commentary Available for Free Download
Asian Journal of Pentecostal Studies online
The Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament was the life-work of German scholar Heinrich August Wilhelm Meyer [1800-1873]. Starting when he was 27 and finishing when he was 72, Meyer completed and then revised 16 volumes on the New Testament, the remaining five being completed by close friends (Gottlieb Lünemann, Johann Ed. Huther and Friedrich Düsterdieck). Skilled in multiple languages Meyer has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the scholarly literature of his day and used this to bridge the gap between the Academy and the Church. A theological conversative, his commentary is still greatly valued today by scholars and ministers with a good grasp of the Koine Greek.

The Asian Journal of Pentecostal Studies is an English-language peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS). First published in 1998, it is one of the longest running journals of its kind in the Majority World. In order to make this material more easily accessible, I am pleased to announce that I have been granted permission by the Editor to host, not just the table of contents, but the journal articles themselves. You can access the table of contents by clicking on the link below:
